Mott Family - Bentley aka Hollister -

OUR LAST LITTLE DOODLE went to the Mott Family in Eagle.  I see lots of love in Hollister's future.  His little 2 legged sister and brother are sure to spoil him with lots of love.   His new name will be Bentley.  How cute!

HOLLISTER- At 7 weeks Hollister is very playful.  He loves the squeeky  toys.  He also is doing good at going to the door to go outside.  I'm so proud of him.  We need to work on the kennel training a bit more this week.  He lasted 15 seconds before he started to whimper.  He was fine having a littter mate with him but we want to get him used to being alone.  Second attempt we let him cry it out and he settled down in about 10 minutes.  Poor little guy, .... he will get used to it.   Below you will see him looking at you.  He is the second from the front.

HOLLISTER- At 6 weeks Hollister has mellowed some and seems to be more content in his pack.  He will let you know when he is hungry and wants to be held.  Thursday he was the only one whining and howling.  When I went to check on him he went to the door and scratched.  I thought to myself he shouldn’t have to go since all the pups just came in 5 minutes prior.  When I opened the door, he shot out and ran over to the snow pile to do his business.  I was so proud of him because he could have just gone in the potty box inside.  Nope, he is a big boy and likes to go outside.   But when he is hungry, look out!  He will let you have it.  I can’t say I blame him with all those pups around, he’s probably afraid they’ll be nothing left for him.
HOLLISTER- At 5 weeks Hollister will have retriever highlights.  He looks very similar to Bliss but smaller.  He likes to interact with humans.  When we are close to the kennel he is the one who comes to talk to us.  He'll start to climb up our pant leg and want attention.  He is playful and has managed to learn how to climb out of his kennel.  Between him and Picabo, I'm always wondering who has escaped.  When I count to 10 and only find 9 in the kennel I'm checking to see if it is him or Picabo.  Today we went on a Hollister and Picabo hunt because we knew 2 were missing.  Yep they both were under the kitchen table wrestling.
HOLLISTER- At 4 weeks Hollister is light apricot.  I expect him to have retriever highlights like his mama.  He had a bit to say about his bath today.  A few little whimpers until he figured out that he could drink the warm water.

HOLLISTER- At 3 weeks is getting a bit darker then his brother Oakley.  He loves to Cruz the kennel and find another mate to wrestle with, but at this point they are just knocking each other down.  I bet next week they will really starting to rough house.

HOLLISTERAt 2 weeks is our second lightest apricot boy.  If he lightens up can be classified as a blonde. He has a slick coat with signs of waves.  He is mellow and reserved.  Sometimes too polite in allowing his mates to get fed first.  What a sweet boy!

HOLLISTERAt two weeks is the second lightest boy.  He is also very mellow.  It will be fun to see him start playing this week with his mates.  I can't wait to see if he ends up with the soft hair like his daddy.
